New Delhi:
A teenage woman was allegedly harassed at a hospital within the nationwide capital, police stated on Friday.
In accordance with the police, the sufferer, aged about 19 years, was staying as an attendant together with her sister-in-law within the New Drugs Block of LNJP Hospital, Delhi.
“On the intervening nights of July 19 and 20, at about 2.00 AM, when she went to the bottom ground, one individual stopped her on her means again and tried to get near her,” stated the Police.
The accused is recognized as Manish, a resident of Shahdara, aged – 40 years, and was arrested as per the process, they added.
“A case below Part 354/354A IPC was registered at PS IP Property,” stated the police.
The police additional added that “the accused was an attendant to his old-aged mom, who was admitted to the identical block for heart-related illnesses. He works as a non-public safety guard.”
Additional investigation is underway.
