Two military officers and one soldier have been killed in motion after a fierce encounter broke in kalakot forests of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. One soldier is reportedly injured within the encounter.
The encounter began after military’s particular forces and police launched a a joint operation following intelligence inputs concerning the presence of terrorists within the forest space.
The Pir Panjal forest in Jammu and Kashmir have proved to be a problem for the safety forces in the previous few years following a collection of encounters. The terrorists use the dense forests to hide their positions, benefiting from the topography.
