Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh:
Seven individuals are feared drowned whereas bathing within the river Ganga at two completely different ghats on this Uttar Pradesh district on Sunday.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Karchhana Ajit Singh Chauhan stated Sanket Prajapati (14) and Mandeep (16), who had gone to wash within the river at Diha Ghat underneath the Karchhana police station space on Sunday, ventured into deep waters and are feared drowned.
Equally, in one other incident, 5 folks drowned whereas bathing in Triveni Sangam underneath the Daraganj police station space.
ACP Jhansi Chirag Jain stated some folks, who have been bathing in Sangam this night, have been swept by a powerful present and are feared drowned.
They’ve been recognized as Sumit, Vishal, Maheshwar, Utkarsha and Abhishek.
Police officers stated that divers have been pressed in to seek for these feared drowned within the Ganga.
