A whole bunch of individuals paid homage to Artist Namboodiri whose mortal stays had been positioned on the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi on Friday for the general public to pay their final respects. Mr. Namboodiri was a former chairman of the Akademi. Income Minister Ok. Rajan positioned a wreath on the physique on behalf of the State authorities.

Floral tributes had been provided on behalf of Increased Training Minister R. Bindu and Devaswoms Minister Ok. Radhakrishnan. District Collector V.R. Krishna Teja positioned a wreath on behalf of the Tradition division.

Socio-political and cultural leaders, together with MPs, MLAs, representatives of Sahitya, Sangeetha Nataka and Lalitha Kala akademis, had been current.

The Kerala Lalithakala Akademi honoured him with the Raja Ravi Varma Puraskaram in 2004.
