The Assam Police on Saturday registered a case in opposition to Indian Youth Congress president Srinivas Beevi on the premise of a criticism by a former Congress chief.

In his criticism, he accused Srinivas BV of “harassing” and “discriminating” in opposition to him for the previous 6 months.

In line with the Assam Police, a case was registered on the Dispur police station beneath sections 509,294,341,352,354,354A (iv) and 506 IPC RW part 67 of the Data Expertise Act.

Then again, a group of Assam Police has left for Karnataka on Saturday to analyze the matter. A senior Assam Police officer instructed ANI over telephone {that a} police group of 4-5 members has left for Karnataka.
