Cupboard on Wednesday accepted extension of Digital India challenge with an outlay of ₹14,903 crore, Union minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated.

The minister stated that the prolonged Digital India challenge will add on to the work executed underneath the earlier model of the scheme.

“Prime Minister within the cupboard assembly has accepted Digital India programme with outlay of ₹14,903 crore,” Mr. Vaishnaw stated.

He stated that underneath the challenge 5.25 lakh IT professionals shall be reskilled and upskilled and a couple of.65 lakh individuals shall be educated in IT.

Below the prolonged Digital India challenge, 9 extra tremendous computer systems shall be added underneath the Nationwide Supercomputing Mission (NCM).

The minister stated that already 18 tremendous computer systems have been deployed underneath NCM.
