Thirty-five Russian prisoners of conflict have been exchanged with Ukraine and returned to Russia following negotiations, based on the Russian Ministry of Protection.
“On November 23, on account of the negotiation course of, 35 Russian servicemen have been returned from the territory managed by the Kyiv regime, who have been in mortal hazard in captivity,” an announcement from the Russian Ministry of Protection mentioned.
“Plane of the navy transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces will transport the launched servicemen to Moscow for remedy and rehabilitation at medical establishments of the Russian Protection Ministry,” it mentioned.
All these launched shall be given medical and psychological help, the Ministry of Protection mentioned.
Earlier, Denis Pushilin, the chief of the separatist Donetsk area, mentioned on his Telegram channel that Russia and Ukraine performed a prisoner change based on the system “35 for 35.”
“Amongst our launched individuals there have been 4 from the Donetsk Folks’s Republic, two from the Luhansk Folks’s Republic,” he mentioned.
