Purple Bull’s legendary aerodynamicist Adrian Newey has revealed some remorse about not becoming a member of Ferrari after talks between the 2 events occurred in 1994 and 2014.
Requested if there was any remorse on the Past the Grid podcast, Newey replied: “Emotionally I suppose to some extent, sure. However, simply as for example working with Fernando or Lewis would have been fabulous, however it by no means occurred. It’s simply circumstances typically and that’s the best way it’s.
“My discussions for 2014 with Ferrari, had been purely out of frustration that…joined Purple Bull, it was Christian [Horner, team principal] being centrally concerned roughly from the beginning in creating it, for me.
