Calgary Flames assistant basic supervisor Chris Snow died Saturday of a “catastrophic mind harm” after struggling cardiac arrest earlier this week, his spouse stated.
He was 42.
“In the present day we hugged Chris for the final time and stated goodbye as he went to present 4 folks the present of life by donating his kidneys, liver and lungs,” Kelsie Snow posted on X.
“We’re deeply damaged and deeply proud. In life and in dying, Chris by no means stopped giving. We stroll ahead along with his gentle guiding us.”
Snow, who had battled ALS since 2019, was on life help following the cardiac arrest.
Earlier than Friday’s Flames’ preseason sport, he was honored with a video tribute.
Snow joined the group in 2011 and labored his approach up the ladder to assistant GM.
Earlier than becoming a member of the Flames, Snow was director of hockey operations for the Minnesota Wild from 2006-10.
