The Union cupboard has accepted a proposal to lift dearness allowance for central authorities staff by four per cent, sources have stated. A proper announcement is anticipated later at present.
The choice will carry cheers to authorities workers forward of the festive season.
The dearness allowance for presidency staff and pensioners now stands at 46 per cent. This DA can be efficient from July 1, 2023 and arrears can be paid.
