Rawalpindi: The Military’s media wing on Friday clarified that former Military Chief Normal (Retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa’s assertion on “fight functionality” was quoted “out of context”.

Following the dialogue within the media, the Inter-Companies Public Relations (ISPR) issued an announcement, discussing “the fight functionality of the Pakistan Military in view of the standing of sure weapon methods in its stock”.

“For this, the previous military chief’s views on the longer term menace to Pakistan, which he shared with media individuals in an off-the-record interactive session, have been taken out of context,” the ISPR stated.
