Israel finds hundreds of rare treasures in two shipwrecks

In a press release posted on the Israeli Overseas Ministry’s web site, the IAA highlighted a few of the findings from the search, together with cash, bells, gem stones and collectible figurines from the third-century Roman and 14th-century Mameluke durations — and a gold ring the authority stated bore a picture of the “good shepherd” that was utilized by early Christians to represent Jesus.
