CHILAS: Not less than eight folks had been killed and 16 injured after unidentified assailants opened fireplace on a passenger bus on Karakoram Freeway in Chilas, police stated on Saturday.
Following the assault, the driving force of the bus misplaced management and collided with a truck which ignited fireplace and burnt the truck.
The bus was touring from Ghizar district of Gilgit-Baltistan to Rawalpindi, the police added.
The deputy commissioner of Chilas stated the injured and our bodies had been being shifted to a close-by hospital.
DC Ahmad stated the bus bearing registration quantity BLN-4647 was owned by a personal firm.
