Amid the continuing confrontation between BJP leaders and Trinamool MP Mahua Moitra, the latter has debunked the allegations made by Union Minister Nishikant Dubey. Ms Moitra stated that there was no proof by the BJP to again the ‘faux allegation”.

“First BJP stated “Money for Questions.” That failed since no proof to again the faux allegation. Now it’s “Nationwide Safety”, stated Ms Moitra in a publish on X.

Ms Moitra’s assertion comes after Anurag Thakur launched a scathing assault on the Trinamool MP.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur stated this can be a matter of “nationwide safety” and added that ‘an inquiry and acceptable motion ought to be taken rapidly’.

Amid the continuing row, the Trinamool MP has been requested to depose earlier than the Ethics Committee headed by BJP MP Vinod Sonkar to submit oral proof in regard to the grievance filed towards her by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey.

The face-off between Mr Dubey and Ms Moitra began when Mr Dubey wrote a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla making “money for question” allegations towards Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra and demanding an inquiry committee towards her.

He urged for her “fast suspension” from the Home alleging that “bribes had been exchanged between her and businessman Darshan Hiranandani to ask questions in Parliament in alternate for money and items”.

In his letter titled “Re-emergence of nasty ‘Money for Question’ in Parliament”, Mr Dubey has alleged “‘critical Breach of Privilege’, ‘Contempt of the Home’ and a ‘Felony Offence’ below Part 120A of IPC” by the Trinamool Congress MP.

Mr Hiranandani responded in an affidavit. In his three-page signed affidavit, he admitted to his shut relationship with Ms Moitra and claimed that she had shared her Parliament login ID credentials with him.

“She drafted a number of questions that she may increase in parliament that might have components to embarrass the Govt and goal the Adani group. She shared with me her electronic mail ID as MP, so I may ship her data and he or she may increase the questions. I went alongside together with her proposal” he claims in his affidavit.”

Mr Hiranandani additionally claimed that he used the Trinamool MP’s login credentials to publish questions himself.

Responding to the affidavit, Ms Moitra, in a two-page assertion, alleged that the businessman was pressured to signal the “white paper.”
