Pakistan, Japan launch bold mission to spice up ICT exports

ISLAMABAD:

The Federal Ministry of Info Know-how and Telecommunication (MoITT), Pakistan, and the Japan Worldwide Cooperation Company (JICA) have initiated an EAD-approved mission targeted on elevating Pakistan’s ICT trade exports to Japan and fostering partnerships between private and non-private entities. The formal Report of Discussions was signed by key representatives at MoITT on Friday, December 15, 2023.

The collaborative effort, titled “The Mission for Strengthening the Enterprise Collaboration of ICT Business in Pakistan,” is funded by JICA and spans three years, with execution led by the Pakistan Software program Export Board (PSEB). The mission goals to place Pakistan’s ICT sector prominently on the worldwide stage, fostering collaborations, joint ventures, and export alternatives.
