LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday appointed former cricketers Salman Butt, Kamran Akmal and Rao Iftikhar Anjum as “guide members” to chief selector Wahab Riaz.

In an announcement, the PCB mentioned that the trio have taken cost of their duties within the choice panel with quick impact.

“Their first project as guide members to the chief selector contains the upcoming five-match T20I collection towards New Zealand, set to start on January 12, 2024 following the conclusion of the Check tour to Australia. When not engaged in choice duties, the guide members could also be assigned extra duties akin to conducting abilities camps,” mentioned the PCB.
