The PIA flight was on its technique to Lahore from the Saudi metropolis of Dammam when heavy rain pressured the flight to divert to Multan.

To show to Multan, the flight needed to attain the airspace of the Indian metropolis of Ferozepur, which was permitted by India.

The PIA plane landed safely at Multan airport after crossing Indian airspace.
