Policeman Injured In Firing By Terrorists In Srinagar, Operation Going On

A policeman was injured in an assault by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar on Sunday. The firing occurred throughout a raid, police mentioned.

Safety forces have launched a cordon and search operation.

Earlier this week, a policeman was killed by terrorists within the metropolis’s Batmaloo space.

There have been collection of focused assaults in Srinagar and a few elements of Kashmir within the final month. Not less than 11 civilians, principally migrant employees and members of minority group, have been focused.

In separate encounters, three terrorists have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir this week. One among them was a member of proscribed terror outfit Mujahideen Gazwatul Hind, who was assigned to hold out a “fidayeen” (suicide) assault in Srinagar. The opposite two have been killed in an encounter in Kulgam.

The terrorist killed in Srinagar was a relative of one of many accused within the February 2019 suicide assault in Pulwama”s Lethpora, through which 40 Central Reserve Police Pressure (CRPF) personnel misplaced their lives.
