LAHORE-Member of the 2009 T20 World Cup profitable squad and former Pakistan cricketer Sohail Tanvir has been appointed as head of the junior choice committee.
Sohail’s first project as chairperson of the junior choice committee would be the choice of the Pakistan U19 Squad for the 2023 ACC U19 Asia Cup scheduled to be held between December eight and 17 in UAE. Pakistan U19 will later participate within the ICC U19 World Cup from January 13 to February four in Sri Lanka.
Sharing his views, Sohail Tanvir mentioned: “I’m really honoured and grateful for the chance offered by Chairman PCB Administration Committee Mr. Zaka Ashraf to function head of the junior choice committee. Being appointed chairman of this committee is a large duty and I’m trying ahead to this thrilling problem.
“I imagine within the potential of our younger expertise and we collaboratively goal to construct a pathway for achievement from the grassroots to the worldwide stage. Our first activity would be the choice of the U19 squad for upcoming ACC U19 Asia Cup, as we put together to construct a powerful crew to compete within the ICC U19 World Cup later subsequent 12 months,” he added.
