The Haryana authorities on Saturday prolonged the suspension of cellular web service in Nuh and Palwal districts until August 8, based on an official order.
Suspension of SMS companies in these two districts has been prolonged until 5 pm on August 7, it stated.
Cell web and SMS companies had been suspended after clashes erupted in Nuh on July 31 over an try to cease a Vishva Hindu Parishad procession and unfold to Gurugram and different districts of the state. Six folks have died within the clashes.
The order to increase the suspension was issued by Extra Chief Secretary (House), T V S N Prasad, on Saturday night. The Haryana authorities had earlier suspended cellular web and SMS companies and later prolonged until August 5.
