The timings of 314 trains of the 568 trains operating within the South Western Railway have been revised.
Addressing the media, Kusuma Hariprasad, Further Divisional Railway Supervisor (Admin), Bengaluru Division, on Tuesday (Oct. 3) highlighted the key adjustments within the operating sample of trains which are operated from the Bengaluru Division with impact from October 1, 2023.
She mentioned that the passenger timetable revision is completed yearly in October in session with different railway zones.
She mentioned the Bengaluru Division operates a complete of 396 trains; and on common 264 trains are run on daily basis, out of which 205 are categorical and 59 are passenger trains.
Ms. Kusuma mentioned 4 pairs of latest trains have been launched, the frequency of 1 pair of trains has been elevated and three pairs of trains have been prolonged, in response to a launch from SWR, Bengaluru Division.
