Ballia, UP:
A 19-year-old faculty scholar was arrested in Ballia on Sunday for allegedly raping a 13-year-old lady, police stated.
SHO of native Nagra police station Atul Mishra stated a case was registered towards Ashish Chauhan, a BA second-year scholar, on Wednesday based mostly on a grievance lodged by the minor’s mom.
Police stated the complainant alleged that Chauhan used to sexually harass her daughter.
Mr Mishra stated when the minor lady’s assertion was recorded in entrance of a Justice of the Peace, she accused Chauhan of raping her.
Based mostly on the assertion, the cost of rape was added and the accused was arrested following a tip-off, police stated.
